2007-06-03 八戸市立桔梗野小学校
_ 八戸市立桔梗野小学校の増築工事です。
昨年末までの設計で、もう少しで着工となります。 既存校舎から普通教室６クラス分と特別教室の 一部が移ります。 １・２階共多目的スペースを持ち、既存校舎には 無かった遊びながら学べる空間を設けています。 外観はシンプルで清潔感が出るようにし、 ポイントで桔梗の色のタイルを張ります。 工期は来年の３月です。時がたつのを楽しみにしています。

２枚目は玄関を和室側からみたところです。屋根勾配に沿って吹き抜けのようになています。
玄関を入り右を向くと階段出現です。トップライトにより日中は照明が無くてもＯＫです。ホントは木やフローリングなどを焦げ茶色にしたかったのですが。そこはお施主様の意見も取り入れての決定です。あくまで個人的な意見というか願いというか。2007-03-14 田向地区の

無事竣工し本年度の会検も平穏に終わり、何はともあれお疲れさまでした。
今の学校建築というのは、我々の世代が過ごした「学校」とは全く別物ですね。自分の通った学校は「コンクリートで出来た箱」といったイメージが強いのですが、今回の桔梗野小学校は建築的にウィットに富んだ
柔らかい感じの建物という印象でした。
この新しい学舎で将来の八戸、はたまた日本を担っていくであろう沢山の子供達が育まれていく事でしょう。

The chief of Police is retiring following a report she worked a second job while on the clock.
Chief Cassandra Jones has been with the Fulton County Police Department since Dec. 17, 1979, and has served as police chief since Oct. 9, 2007. Her retirement is effective April 7.
Assistant Police Chief Gary D. Stiles will serve in an interim capacity until a permanent replacement is named.

WAGA-TV Jones taught a college class on Thursdays and worked from home on Mondays. But, Jones declined to comment on the report to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
